Summer 2007 Sailing Has Been Good at Kentlands, but....
We have heard from the Soccerplex management that they have identified a
leak in the pond, and the fix is in process. This will probably take a
few months so, in the interim, we'll continue to sail at the
Kentlands.
Here's
a map to Inspiration Lake in the Kentlands, Gaithersburg. For
reference, this map shows the intersection of Route 28 and Rt. 124,
Quince Orchard Blvd. If you approach the area on Great Seneca Highway,
use the Kentlands Blvd. entrance to the Kentlands.

Yes, that's a Skipjack and a Marblehead
New Radios!
Many
skippers have made the upgrade!
They work! These radios are fast
becoming the standard upgrade. Take a look; we have many active in our
club and they are a huge improvement over the stock radios. See the crystal-free, glitch-fr ee,
Spektrum DX6 DSM 2.4Ghz Spread Spectrum
radios by clicking the link below or the image to the right. If you've suffered, as I and others definitely have, from radio
interference, glitching, and the dreaded channel conflict, take a look
at the
future of RC.
Don't forget to take a look at the
Yahoo CR-914 site
featured in the most recent CRronicle. There's also a lot of great
information on the
Class page.

Click through our photo page for some photos
of boats and people having fun. You should be in these pictures - if you
aren't already.
Be sure to visit the
CR-914 Class website.
It's extremely well done, and there is a wealth of information -
history, photos, CRonicle, tuning guides, rules - you name it.
Check it out.
